White or light colored clothes make the person wearing the clothes look fatter

One of the reasons why purchasing clothes is a very time consuming process, is because there are very few suitable clothes available.
Most of the clothes available in larger sizes for women are white or in light colors.
Women who wear plus size clothes, would prefer darker colors to make them look slimmer.
Yet some stores are only stocking white or printed white clothes in larger sizes.
Additionally, stains are easily visible on white clothes
So if a garment manufacturer wishes to increase sales of large sized clothes, they should have more designs in dark colors.
